Jersey CI

Three weeks back, mrs maytrees and myself travelled to Jersey to  see maytrees max and meet his girlfriend there.

The Easy jet flight was barely £40 return each so was excellent value as was the Premier Inn hotel in St Helier.

Gillian, who like maytrees max resides on Jersey, kindly drove us around the island. She is a great believer in supporting attempts to safeguard animals and birds which are on the verge of extinction, so is a long term member of Jersey Zoo which specialises in work of that kind.

Whilst we were visiting Jersey, members of the battalion which was to honour King Charles as the new Duke of Normandy on the island (historical reason  for that title apparently, when the islanders who had a choice hundreds of years ago, chose England over France) also flew over via Easy Jet.

A very enjoyable time with some great company and delicious meals.
