Our oldest daughter Alice who is head of mathematics at her school selected this exhibition at Somerset House for us to view with her and her two children, our oldest grandchildren.
A very interesting question posed in the exhibition gallery was whether the pictures were more about mathematics or art bearing in mind that MC Esher had trained to be an architect
