HCPT Group 35

Easter Sunday 2010 sees the start of Group 35's annual journey to Lourdes with the HCPT.

Great in my view,  that after the demise of the old French  SNCF couchette trains and a few years of  waiting around in  airports, Stansted and  Gatwick,  to make  somewhat unromantic  and global warmimg trips by plane, we are back to the  more  interesting and in my view pilgrim-like expedition down by train.

The plan is to take The Eurostar  on Easter Sunday evening  from London St Pancras International to Gare du Nord Paris, thence by HCPT chartered TGV with several  other HCPT family, youth and ancilliary groups, to arrive in Lourdes just in time for breakfast on Easter Monday. That day by happy chance will also  be the 35th wedding anniversary of mrs maytrees and I and marks 35 years of leading HCPT Goup 35.

More later.
