The Pilgrimage to Lourdes with the HCPT is starting this year on a sombre note.
The new Team Donhead Group 729 which was formed last year is traveling again and is so far we feel quite successful and worthwhile. Once more we have an old Donhead boy (age 16) in the Group. Also Father Francis who is I think age 30, has just secured a visa to travel to France with us as HCPT Group 729 chaplain for our Easter Week pilgrimage.
A sadness that I learned about yesterday arises from serious ill health:
A 10 year old Donhead boy was yesterday reported as having contracted a very serious heart virus which doctors advise may require him the have a heart transplant if his health does not mend shortly.
We shall think of him at Lourdes and perhaps anyone who reads this blog will say a prayer for him and his family.
